Our values enrich and drive our mission: We exist to point people to Christ and to train them to live out their individual and corporate callings by being real with ourselves, others, and God.
Because God is love and loved us first, all that we do is motivated, empowered, and saturated by His Love within His boundaries. This love is agape, which is a selfless, sacrificial, and unconditional love.
Verses: 1 John 4:8-12; Romans 12:9-10
We pray about everything because it is essential to everything we do. We strive to fully submit and rely on the Holy Spirit through prayer to guide, heal, unify, and transform the Church and our lives for God’s Glory.
Verses: James 5:16; Philippians 4:6; 1 Thessalonians 5:17
We give grace upon grace because we have received unearned grace upon grace from God. We are not perfect, but we serve a perfect God who continually sustains us through grace to give grace to others and to ourselves.
Verses: John 1:14-16; Ephesians 2:4-9; Romans 3:23-25
As followers of Christ, we live in freedom. As a new creation, we are no longer in bondage to the old self but are free to live as children of God. We have the freedom to explore and to live out who God created us to be as we make mistakes along the way — because we receive grace upon grace from God and from one another.
Verses: 2 Corinthians 3:17; 1 Peter 2:16; Galatians 5:1, 13-14; Romans 6:22; Isaiah 61:1
We respond to God’s generosity by seeking to give above 10% of our time, talents, and treasure to Real Church and God’s Kingdom. We recognize that every good thing comes from God, so we offer it sacrificially, joyfully, and freely recognizing that what we give reflects our own heart.
Verses: Matthew 6:21; 1 Timothy 6:18-19; 2 Corinthians 9:5-7; James 1:17
We are being transformed into the likeness of Christ as we worship, celebrate, learn, suffer, and grieve together as a community. We are a family that encourages and builds one another up in the faith as we submit to God both individually and corporately as a church. We are also a worldwide community in that we are rooted and connected to other churches and communities and we partner with others to spread the Gospel.
Verses: 1 Thessalonians 5:11; Ephesians 4:11-13; Romans 12:2; Romans 8:17
We honor God when we submit to Jesus, the Holy Spirit, Scripture, and those He has placed as leaders and rulers over us. In the spirit of servanthood, as we honor one another we bless God. By taking Sabbath, we honor God.
Verses: John 5:23; Romans 12:10; Romans 13:1; 1 Timothy 5:17; Luke 14:8; Ephesians 4:11-13; 1 Timothy 1:1-4; Ephesians 5:21; John 12:26
We do a few things well with all our heart and focus in on our mission as a church. In alignment with God’s guidance, we put our energy where the Holy Spirit tells us.
Verses: Galatians 5:25; Acts 15:28-29
We uniquely train, mentor, and disciple others so that our knowledge, skills, and experience can be expanded exponentially to the glory of God’s Kingdom.
